"To celebrate our 10th Anniversary year, Prizm will present Vernacular À la Mode explores how vernacular modes of artmaking originating in global African contexts have influenced the cultivation of fine art practice worldwide. Our holistic program includes four sections: Prizm Panels, Prizm Perform, Prizm Film, Prizm Preview, and, of course, Prizm Art Fair at large, exhibiting international artists from Africa and the global African Diaspora."

Pantheon (“the gods of a people”) is a reimagining of 16th-18th century religious paintings of the holy spirit, continuing sarah huny young's visual theme of depicting Black women as the prototype—the origin of humanity—and worthy of worship. consisting of a portrait & altar, this installation debuted at Prizm Art Fair during Art Basel Miami, November 29 - December 11, 2022.

CIRCLES is an unapologetic, full-length performance layering dance, visual arts, and a live original score that presents snapshots of popular culture through choreographer Staycee Pearl’s lens as a Black woman. The accompanying CIRCLES art exhibit features works drawn from shared explorations of Blackness and self-reclamation by Kitoko Chargois, Bekezela Mguni, Staycee Pearl, and sarah huny young.

We are the Global Majority

"We Are the Global Majority," an exhibition curated by #notwhite collective, opened Friday June 4, 2021, at Space Gallery, marking the official reopening of Cultural District galleries and the kickoff of the Three Rivers Arts Festival. The 13-member, all-women, all-Pittsburgh-based collective invited 17 other women artists across the country who identify as bi/multi-racial/cultural, immigrant or descendants of immigrants to be a part of the show.
